Jeanny joined Park West as the Admissions Director in 2019. Prior to coming to Park West, Jeanny was a teacher for two years at Riverside Montessori School. Before teaching at Riverside Montessori School, Jeanny had 19 years of teaching experience working in different school settings in NYC with children ages 18 months to 8 years old. She holds a M.A. in Early Childhood Special Education with an extension in Bilingual Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She has her AMS (American Montessori Society) certification at the Infant and Toddler level from CME-NY and is currently finishing her Montessori AMS certification at the Early Childhood level. She has her permanent New York State teaching license in Early Childhood and Special Education (Birth-2nd Grade). As a former Montessori teacher and parent of current and former Twin Parks students, she brings a depth of knowledge and a unique perspective on the value of our school. She is a proud mother of three children and enjoys each moment with her family.
