Laura Sands, M.Ed.

Laura Sands joined the Twin Parks community in 2015, after returning from living abroad in Taiwan, Korea, and Colombia, teaching English. She holds a Master's Degree in General and Special Education from Concordia College, is state licensed, and has a B.F.A. in Photography from SUNY Purchase. She has her Montessori certification in Early Childhood through AMS. Growing up among a family of teachers and artists, she loves teaching and being in the classroom. Her son is also a member of the community too, currently in a toddler classroom. In her free time, Laura is passionate about spending time with family and friends, in nature, traveling, eating delicious food, and viewing visual and performing arts.
