Margarita Gutierrez was born in New Jersey and raised in Mexico. Growing up she found herself always helping her mom and family with their children. It was from this early age she developed a love and interest for childcare. She recently graduated from High School and will soon be joining Bergen Community College in the Early Childhood Education program. Throughout her high school years, she has cultivated a deep interest in child development, art, music, and different cultural backgrounds. Margarita did some community work at her church working with infants and toddlers from all different backgrounds . She feels that this experience has not only enhanced her academic skills and given her some tools to work with children, but also instilled in her a strong work ethic, determination, and a commitment to excellence. She is very happy to be a member of the Park West Montessori community and is confident that her enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to learn will make her an asset to this community.
