Sakinah Mahri joined Park West in 2021. Prior to that she was an assistant teacher for 10 years, both in the classroom at the El-Behr Islamic School and at the Hikmah Saturday School in Long Island City, NY. She studied at the Akademi Bahasa Asing (Academy of Foreign Languages) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
